Meanness

I’m sitting here thinking about all the snide comments about my texting Adam he made. How frustrated he appeared with me at times. I was nothing but nice to him, always.

I’m not going to let anyone treat me like that again. Maybe I shouldn’t be that nice to people either.

It reminds me of Jackson just Wednesday at our neighborhood pool. He wanted to play Marco Polo with some boys. They ignored his requests to join. It hurt to watch. We left soon after. Luckily Jackson doesn’t take things personal. He shrugs it off and keeps on going.

He’s never mean to people. He’s kind and considerate. He doesn’t ignore anyone. We all could use to be more like him.
